Learning!

Today I had a go at trying to fix an old B&W photo of my grannie. I don't know who the chap is. I know the photo was taken by an Oban photographer called HM Scrivens and he called himself Maison de Photographie. I know that as a young girl in her twenties my granny was a servant gril in a big house on Loch Awe side and that the lady of the house was so mean she kept the pantry door locked and had the key on her persons. This one fine day my grannie discovered the pantry window open so she climbed in and found a huge jar of pickeled eggs. She passed it out to her accomplice and they scoffed the entire jar! Some time after that she developed an ulcer but the doctor maintained it was because she was near starving. It was then she diecided to move onto another job with a kinder family. Times were indeed hard in these days. Really serious camera club tonight!
Happy blipping all
