DOWNTIME

This evening we had a very pleasant Wild Girls' midsummer walk and meal. We chose the country park for the walk, but it was past the cygnets' bedtime.

The pub we chose was the one where Tony Blair entertained George W Bush to a fish & chip lunch, but unlike them we didn't cause the local villages and roads for miles around to be closed by police and secret services. Good food, and no MI6 or CIA in sight (as far as we know)!
