A Long Day

I had an early walk - 6 a.m. - with Finlay… back about 7 a.m.

Mrs madwill had a hospital appointment in York and we set off at 9 a.m …arriving just before the 10 a.m. start. An hour and three quarters later it was over… and it turns out that I didn't need to go… she could have driven herself. At least I had a couple of coffees whilst waiting…

We drove directly to Doncaster ( another hour ) and almost immediately set off to take our daughter to hospital for her appointment. We took our granddaughter out to lunch and for a run around Sandall Park whilst we waited. Blip opportunity in the park - a beautiful black swan.

After that we all went traipsing around several shops… and then back to their house. We left about 6:30 and got home shortly after 7. Poor Finlay was very pleased to see us after his day alone.

Absolutely cream crackered… tea was just a ready made pizza (with extra mozzarella added) and some chicken wings…and a couple of beers. A rapid upload to blip to finish the day.
