The Light That Brings a Smile Across Your Face

Today I am grateful, for the light, for the sun and the warmth, for a relaxing lunchtime walk with a friend watching butterflies in the forest, for an evening walk with Andy and Merlin next to the sea, to feel the gentle breeze in my face, for memories of happy June days in the flower filled garden with Mum, to be loved and to love, to have a home and to live in peace. 

As the light fades on this longest day of the year, it is 9:44pm and the sky is filled with a pink glow as the sunsets on the horizon.
