Run for cover!

A bomb threat at the Tesco bank building today caused chaos in our office. You can't see very well but this is the police stopping the traffic.

Shortly after taking this shot, we were evacuated from our desks to another part of the office. We also took in 400 Tesco refugees and had people sitting on the floor in the aisles at one point.

It was all really exciting stuff - for about an hour, then we all got bored and wanted to go home. Sadly though we were unable to leave the building! We stuck it out - Lorraine provided special BOMB LOLLIPOPS (ok leftover Halloween sweets) and we sat around.

Apparently the police set off a controlled explosion to remove the threat and by lunch time everything was sorted and we went back to our desks to work. Joy.
