Sheep with wellies

Didn't need the wellies today. A very early start 3.30am walked dogs then headed off to the Royal Highland Show hoping to beat the worst of the traffic. Which we did!

Husband wanted to go today as they were judging the beef shorthorns (pic in extra). Shorthorns are the chosen breed of cattle for the farm we are now managing. They haven't bought any yet. Dris and I found the cattle a little boring and Dris decided to lie down and have a nap after his early start. Wish I could have joined him. He picked up his bandana on his rounds of the sale stalls. I got recognised a few times and we did bump into Steve the buffalo guy from the series. It was good to catch up with him. He will be visited occasionally in the next series fyi. This is the second time I have ever been to the show. Did catch up with a few folk we know which was nice. A lovely sunny day glad to be home to the rest of the pack and some peace
