Wild Iris

We were out early today as Jack was seeing the optician as he's been concerned about his eyesight recently;  the optician was able to re-assure him but he told him he should see a specialist and consider cataract surgery; he knew he had cataracts but apparently they've worsened since November. Now he's just glad the problem isn't diabetes related and he's looking forward to an improvement in his vision.

We took a short walk down at the nature reserve before heading back home and the sight of lots of these wild irises at the edges of one of the many small ponds was lovely to see.  Thank you for stopping by my journal and thank you Miranda1008 for coming up with the idea of a wild flower challenge.
