An Empty Nest?

It is empty, but Mom & the kids are out on a branch near by. I couldn't get the focus right on the photos I took of the Blue Heron family today. Oh well, you get the idea......she has two juveniles and I watched Dad return with food for the kids. They were quite anxious to get whatever Dad brought to them. That shot was trash. I just think I am getting smarter about my camera and then I realize I have a lot to learn and I am forgetful about what I used to know.  :-((

We drove to the beach today; the weather is considerable cooler over here. It is pleasant 70 F......much nicer than the 93F in Portland!!
