Bally Gally Poppy

We used to go to Bally Gally in Ireland for summer holidays when we were growing up. There were always lots of pink and purple poppies which were so pretty.
I’ve looked for them ever since and this morning there was one in my garden. I pinched a head off a pink poppy years ago and scattered the seeds around the garden and this year I have one :) It reminds me of being about 7 and long hot family holidays.
