By Bodensee (Lake Konstanz) What a day!

It has been beautiful weather, reaching 31 degrees.  (Thank goodness for air con)   We hoped to reach Freiberg but the traffic was, as usual, nose to tail for miles and by 2 pm we decided to find an overnight stop.  The one we found seemed ideal at first and we paid our overnight fee.  Then we released our electric cable wouldn't connect but we could use gas .. .. ..   then we couldn't find the place to empty the loo.  Oh, well.. .. ..  leave it until the morning.  It could be very remote at 2 am.  .. .. .. ?????  Another motorhome arrived and we felt quite relieved, but thy didn't stay - "that's it, we are not staying!" 20 miles down the road we reached Freiburg - traffic chaos and we missed our turn!  "Do a "U" turn" said the satnav.  "You must be joking" we said!  BUT for once the satnav was right!  We missed the turning for our site again and ended up on one  where we had stayed 6 years ago!  (We probably found it by accident then too)  He chose a pitch in the sun and  hung up the towels to create shade!  What a day!
