Surf and Sky

This yellow sky, and the cloud bank coming down to meet the lake, made me pull off the road by Burlington's downtown waterfront to blip them. My shot does not do justice to how incredible it looked and I found myself wishing I had the skill (and probably a better camera) to capture it better.

The stiff cold wind helped wake me up a little as it was after 2 am in my time zone when President Obama's acceptance speech finished. Wouldn't have missed it. It is a happy day in my world. Canadians are very much affected by American politics, and I was very, very pleased to see that marriage equality prevailed and more women than ever voted and were voted in.
