Back in the day it was Domestic Science.
Now it’s Food Technology.
I remember one of the things we had to make in DS was a ‘Danish Open Sandwich’. That was basically a baguette cut longways with bits of food laying on top of it.
Except I don’t think anyone knew where to buy a baguette in England in 1973. Or in Denmark for that matter...
