Intrigue...

Off to Port Edgar for lunch at our favourite Canadian Diner (Down the Hatch). It was as ever superb. Opposite is a very posh furniture shop so we popped in for a look. Inside the door was a pile of unidentified boxes in various shapes and sizes - lucky dip boxes for the modest sum of £10! I shoogled a few. They were heavy. Quick as a flash into Mrs FP's purse for the readies.

As we travelled home the excitement grew, what had we bought? I speculated that it might be half a dozen house bricks. But no, we were not disappointed. Huge magnificent specimens they were. All we need now is somewhere to put them (I expect they may eventually reside either side of the fireplace, but we have all summer to experiment).

The answer to the questions that sit upon your trembling inquisitive lips lie in the extras.

£10 well wagered.
