Pluck

An accomplished harpist was playing at the garden show. During a rest break she spotted this young woman she knew and encouraged her to have a go.

She was clearly a beginner and there was no music for pieces that she knew. "Oh well, just do some arpeggios" was the response.

She was obviously nervous but stepped up to the plate.

That takes pluck.
