Vacation Day 8

Another early morning out to see the farmers and sit but the lagoon and wait for birds. I got some great pics of some strange and beautiful birds and played around a little with the settings on the cam to see about getting some in flight and got some but was overrulled one which one to blip. I knew the colours and angle on this one were going to win out.

The rest of the day involved a half hour bus ride to a small town where we went on a four hour horse ride up a mountain to a large lake. The pictures they showed us at the beginning of the destination didn't quite match up but it was still an interesting thing to do. I had never ridden a horse before and must have watched enough westerns to know what to do when it started to take off by itself and when it decided to go the wrong way.

I am positive I saw a pair of bald eagles but the pics were a little blurry seeing as how they were taken with a 400mm lens from the back of a moving horse.
