Bailee's tea party
The day Bailee has been waiting for all year had finally come, today was her tea party.
Bailee had patiently watched her sisters have their parties, and had been really looking forward to her day, planning it and telling me who was invited and what games to play, she was a little girl who knew what she wanted.
Pink, cupcake tea party was the theme Bailee had chosen, we set tables up with tea pots, tea cups spoons, and plates filled with water, or pink lemonade. Bailee wanted name tags on each table for all the girls, and she happily decided who sat where and with whom.
The girls started arriving and were sat down while we painted their nails, and sprayed glitter in their hair, and finally a butterfly tattoo they loved this, all girly and chatty.
They found their table with their name and had cupcakes, fruit and hotdogs, with lots of other yummy things.Bailee was really enjoying being centre stage. All the girls were making a big fuss over her, and wanting to sit next to her.
Treasure hunt was next, they were all handed a pink basket with their names on it and off they run in all different directions to find the treasure, this kept them happy and entertained for ages, once all treasure was sorted, or so we thought...we were still finding unfound treasure the next day. Egg and spoon race was another of miss Bailees favourites she was ever so careful not to drop the egg.
Crocodile and pin the cherry on the cupcake were some of the other games, the day went so fast and I but say I think this time around has been the easiest, not sure if that is because of the age of the kids and them being easier to entertain or me finally getting things all sorted.
Bailee said that was so much fun mum I loved it, can we do it again PLEASE
They all fell asleep very tried and full of party food.
while we cleaned and straightened things out down stairs.
at least they have a few days to play at home with the presents,
