Yellow Poppy
With the promise of another good day weatherwise, I left Mum and took a very very long way home via Birling Gap near Eastbourne. It was looking good until I crossed over the South Downs, when it started to get a bit misty.
I had lunch on the beach, and took the obligatory shots of the Seven Sisters cliffs, before heading west along the South Downs Coastal Path for a mile or so. By the time I started to head back this was rather more foggy, and the sea had disappeared! However, it wasn't cold and gave a lovely diffused light for shooting the wild flowers along the way, like this yellow poppy.
