Nelly to the Rescue.

It was not an exciting day today, just scraping down some disgusting hive frames so that they can be reused. They will need to be flamed to sterilise them before they can be used again. It’s all a tedious and time consuming process so I can easily understand why commercial beekeepers don’t bother. By the time allowance has been made for their time, it is far cheaper to make up new ones from the kits. The result is that this blip of a Nelly Moser is slightly more interesting than one of a pile assorted frames.
