Antequera

First day of our 'Classic Spain' adventure. We've never done an organized tour like this before so are a bit apprehensive!

We had a 6am flight to Malaga which meant we arrived at our hotel in Antequera late morning so had time for a leisurely lunch and then an initial pootle around the city. I like it, very interesting place.

Boy was it hot! We managed though to climb up to the Alcazaba fortress, with great views over the city. My fitbit said I covered more than 7 miles over the day. Are we mad? There weren't a lot of other people about at what must be the hottest part of the day.

We had some refreshing drinks in a cafe within the fortress, but as with lunch it would appear that nobody speaks a word of English. Eating out is going to be a challenge!
