Red-eyed Damselfly

Another beauty! These are not as common as other species in this part of the UK but easily recognised. 

I've had a quiet, relaxing day with no demands on my time or energy. So I spent as much time as I needed to walk around the lake and observe and photograph the wildlife. Not the best of days for insects as it's been a bit windy.
