Obama

The newspapers have not caught up, but the morning news on radio 2 had.

It's funny, there are events that remind me of specific moments in time. Four years ago, I was spending much of my time either in Texas or working closely with colleagues from the US. I was overly informed about the race and felt like I should have been eligible to vote, I was even in the us on polling night.

This time, I watch from afar, less knowledgeable, but still hoping for the right result, even if its just that it gives some continuity and the policies align with those of the UK better! So I hear the news, waking up in a Dutch hotel, listening via an app on my iPhone, neither of which existed that 4 years ago.

Politicians may change (or not), however technological advancement is relentless (& taken for granted!)
