Hangin' with the big Girls

Saturday morning was......you guessed it....chore time.  We are nothing if not predictable.  

Shortly before 11, we headed into town.  Sugar had a "hang out" scheduled with a friend.  This was a first for these two even though they have known each other for 7 years.  They had a great time, and us moms had a nice chat as well.  It is good to get to know this mom a little better.  Sugar is blessed with some really lovely friends.  I'm trying to keep those connections going over the summer.  

We let the baby chickens.....which, as you see, aren't so babyish anymore, out to hang with the big girls.  Helen is a bit of a meanie....but the babes are fast, and get away.  They are loving having some room to roam around.  This here is Gemma.  She continues to be our favorite.  She is such a sweetie!
