Reflecting

With all the hot, humid air, it only made sense that we had another powerful storm rip through the area this afternoon.  With the heat, the water was quick to evaporate but this puddle remained on the trail, where this little Robin fledgling seemed to be reflecting upon its short life, thus far.  Mama was quickly fetching worms to feed him, which he accepted without any sound at all.
