Bath time

Our garden is full of the chirping of baby birds at the moment but I just can't get close enough to get a good sharp shot of them.
There are 3 baby bluetits, baby great tits, baby dunnocks and 3 teenage magpies who I don't trust at all near the other babies but are actually hilarious to watch in their clumsy adolescence. They try to balance on the bird feeder or the water dish and fall off meanwhile making the most unbelievable din.... then they all fly off to another garden squawking as they go.
Such a contrast to the smaller birds who balance on the thinnest twigs with such delicacy.
This baby blue tit had an absolute ball in the water dish.... see the second shot for a sense of it.
