Gift

I came home to a surprise gift from one of my pals. We have been talking about gin so she sent this lovely Harris specimen. Lovely gin in a lovely bottle.

I have been covering a job for a few months after my boss retired. The post was advertised, I soul-searched for quite some time, applied and got it! I was really delighted when I heard, especially when I heard there was tough competition.

Now I just need to remember that feeling when things get tough! Big challenge, big opportunity in a period of big change. So one thing’s for sure; it won’t be dull! And there’s a great team, so that makes things easier.
