Woody Monday

In our village, household waste should be sorted by type and put into the correct designated containers and is collected. Different rules apply for bulky waste and commercial waste.
Most small waste is collected once a fortnight or month and there are containers for clothes, shoes, and bottles near the supermarket, but some waste is somewhat difficult to deal with when you don't have a car, like us. The pile of rotten wood in our garden, for instance, was slowly growing.
This morning we wrapped a part of it together in two handy bundles and took it to the waste collection centre. It must have been a strange sight and people stared at us like we were totally not from this world.  But hey(!) we were very environmentally friendly and that felt good.
