2018 Saturday — Geddy-up

When the “Estate/Moving Sale” ended at 3:00 this afternoon, the refrigerator had not sold, so I put an ad on some of the Internet sale sites.

I offered the refrigerator for $125.00. Almost instantly a potential buyer was commenting that she had $100. So I said yes. The buyer told me that she and her husband would be at our place in approximately 90 minutes.(They live in Perris, near Hemet, in the Inland Empire region of Southern California.

Well, the traffic was light so they arrived early. We were not at the house; we had gone to get a bite to eat. So the gal sent me a text asking if we had already sold the frig and not waited for them. Mr. Fun made a quick drive there. Met them. And watched as the frig was rolled out our sliding door around the side of the house to the gate that divides the front from the back yard and then he saw the horse trailer.

The frig was wheeled into the trailer, strapped securely, and they drove away. Mr. Fun came home to tell me the story and show me the photos.
