In The Occupied Territory

Father and daughter

For probably the first time ever, it was a father and daughter only father’s day today.
We started off having coffee at the Willows animal sanctuary nearby, and after seeing the animal eyes hastened over to Pitfour Lake for a slow and very pleasant meander round said lake.
It was not too crowded and with the swans and the ducks swimming with their young families, it was a perfect afternoon.

In the evening I was going to be making a veggie curry, but decided to nip across the road The a Four C’s Nepalese restaurant.

Dhruba’s sister and her husband and son were up on a visit from Wales. It was very nice to meet them. Her husband was a serving Gurkha.
