She's back!

I have to say last night's concert left me sad. Martin Carthy is such a hero of mine but he looked so small and so old and was clearly struggling with voice and chords and tuning. So strange, he could remember no names but managed to sing every verse of St Patrick Spens without fault.

This morning we were out for breakfast and Irish lesson at Finola's - croissants helped but our brains hurt by the end. 

Happy Father's Day to all you daddies, nice skypes with both sons.  Son#2 is now in Wellington with a van conversion commission that comes with a house sit! And son#1 is doing some serious climbing - he even has the Old Man of Hoy in his sights!! We can't look.
