Mike The Knight

Corrie was 11 today. He ate Mike the Knight's head, Michelle had the shield, I had his feet and Erin ate a little dragon..

I remember the night 11 years ago when he was born like it was yesterday.. Michelle was the only one in labour that night in Stirling maternity ward, the fireworks were flying outside and John Peel was on the radio.

Tonight Corrie was on the decks on his new Ipod touch - a bit like Peely it was an eclectic mix of Fatboy Slim, Black Lace, Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis. Unlike that night though, Michelle was enjoying the music tonight and didn't shout "turn that *!@ noise off!" through gritted teeth as she buzzed for the nurse. I did as I was told :-}
