Still raining

As one can see the weather remains unsettled. More rain - indeed a veritable deluge - today but by the evening it seemed to be clearing.
The dead chestnut tree is one of ours. I suspect I am meant to fell it as it poses a fire risk. It would however pose a far greater to me trying to fell it so it stays. It is a good perch for the bee-eaters later in the Summer too....
