Hauraki Gulf

Had a day out on Waiheke Island, the second largest and most populous of the Hauraki Gulf islands. Ferry trip was very smooth and we were picked up by our friends and taken to a viewpoint ( main photo) overlooking some of the smaller islands. After lunch we had a wander along Oneroa beach ( extra ) and then attended a choral concert. Ferry back to Auckland with some of the choir. Weather was particularly good for a winter's day.
