Whistler

Even out of season Whistler is an interesting and fun place. I'm standing on the lawn where spectators stood for the medals ceremonies in the 2010 winter olympics, looking up the 'village stroll' towards Whistler mountain. This is the most we ever saw of the mountain - mostly the cloud was a lot lower than this. The ski lifts, including the ones in the picture, were closed until the winter season (starts late November) so we didn't have to worry about what we were missing!
