Day of the Marmot

..... and finally a blipmeet with wildmint (see extra) who just lives 15 minutes drive from me but we have never found the time to go out with our cameras together. We had a beautiful walk above Ovronnaz where there is far too much snow still, to go to any of the areas where we should find bouquetin and chamois. The wild flowers were stunning on the south facing slopes, and there were many marmots soaking up the morning sun.
