Pelmets, borders and bunting

Went to see Sheena and her caravan this afternoon and discuss soft furnishings over a flask of peppermint tea!  What a life!  

She's been given these old French linens by a friend of hers and is wondering about incorporating them in some way.  I've agreed to do some sewing for her in exchange for some art lessons . . .  she's in for a challenge there!

Dancing last night was great - 19 of us, including three Norwegian sailors who had seen the notice in the post office window and come along to see what ceilidh dancing was all about!  They gamely joined in all the dances, including a very fast and manic Strip the Willow!  Came home with my arms feeling as if they had been pulled from their sockets!
