Splish Splash

It was a rainy dark day, but when I spotted our lady cardinal getting a drink from the birdbath in our front yard... I couldn't resist racing for my camera. I knew the light was insufficient, I knew it would have to be through the window (she's super flighty), but I've been dying for a chance to see anyone in my birdbath.  When I came back (seconds later) she had actually hopped into the water and was splashing around!
