I was coming home from working at a place up the South Touchet when I caught a glimpse of this big elk out of the corner of my eye and I didn't even realize what I had seen for 100 ft or so.(About amount the time it takes to say "holy crap what was that"). I then had to back up, expecting this big fellow to take off like they usually do, but he just kinda wandered off into the trees. I was wanting to get more pictures but right after this one a car pulls up beside my and starts talking to me about this bull. the one thing of interest that he did say was that this bull had been around here for about a week, so maybe I'll see him again tomorrow.

I think he has six points on each side of his antlers
