The Colorado River, at Lee's Ferry

The Colorado River before here is flat and smooth, this is the first area of slightly rough water, the Parria Riffles. Further downstream there are major rapids and wild white water - this is fine for me! I did get my feet wet in the river, such wonderful cool, clear and cold water.
Sometimes you just have to stop and look, and appreciate the world we live in, the landscape here is simply stunning - and humbling.
