After shock

I went to a retiral do, at the school I used to work in, tonight. It was lovely to catch up with friends and colleagues. This line tree though, at the corner of Canaan Lane came down yesterday morning. It was a magnificent lime tree and well over 100 years old. It came down between 9 and 12 noon and fortunately for the school came down over the road rather than over the residential bungalows. Damage mainly to the wall, but it could have been so much worse.
