Litter

My class and I took part in a litter pick this morning as part of a community/transition initiative. It began last year when a local man offered to help fund a residential trip for the S1 children. He asks that the children take part in 5 hours of community service and in return funds a large amount of the trip for them. It was actually a really lovely morning, lots of chat with the children most of whom I’ve taught twice and feel I know very well. It will be strange next year to have a brand new class to build relationships with.
