Raking
As the hay is very thin, I decided to try raking it with this old rake to narrow the swaths to save some time at the last raking and baling. It worked well.
All the bigger heifers are now out. The 13th out (on the 13th day of the month) caused some trouble. We put her in the small paddock (with more visible fencing) together with the 12th who already broke a fence, but stayed in. She jumped over the fence, ran around on the barley field, then on the road and on the yard. We managed to chase her back into the shed and let her go to the larger paddock where the others are. She broke a fence once more, but calmed down after that. I guess there must be always one like this.
