The incredible light scenes of Didim...

An early start to beat the crowds on this first full day of the 'end of Ramadan' holiday, Sarah and I were on the beach - well, Sahte Cennet, as yesterday, by 11am.  We were the first people there!   A long and gruelling almost six hours of sunbeds and sea ensued. Unlike yesterday, no jetski instructors were scared in the process (as far as I know). 

After a recovery period at home, we set off,  destination Didim marina, for dinner.  I have photographed the almost identical scene many times before, but this evening the light was extraordinary as heavy rain with thunder and lightening moved across the bay in the distance (Akbuk) whilst over the marina a glorious golden sunset reflected off the clouds.  The pictures were all taken between 19:20 and 20:30.  Incredible light transformations of the same scene. Couldn't resist. Chose favourite four for Blip. Dinner was nice, too.
