Lunchtime companions

After our walk this lunchtime we stopped for lunch at the Beach Cafe. The starlings that hang around the cafe are quite tame and being a dullish day the outside tables at the Cafe were not busy. This pair, mother and juvenile, sat on the next table to us, about 2 feet away, and watched every move as we consumed our coffee and cake.
