Shopping

I popped into town during my lunch break to do a couple of things. Firstly, I went to the iron monger's to get some keys cut. It's a great shop, full of exciting (and useful) items, and a cat who lives on the counter. I asked the very friendly and helpful iron monger if I could take a picture of the cat and he said, "Yes - BUT, WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T TOUCH IT". I wondered what would have happened if I had? It looked so peaceful snoozing by the till...

I then went to the pet shop to get some fish supplies. They have a big kennel in situ and a lovely big dog (whose kennel it presumably is) who wanders around and greets every customer. Haslemere is a very animal-friendly place, you know.
