Wheelwright

A wheelwright is a person who builds or repairs wheels. The word is the combination of "wheel" and the archaic word "wright", which comes from the Old English word "wryhta", meaning a worker or maker.

Came across this in the next door village of Hadstock. Never read the notice properly before. So that wheel has been there for 92 years at least! No wonder there are a couple of mushrooms growing out of it.
