Bridge street heat

You can't have it all, all at once. Who—man or woman—has it all, all at once? Over my lifespan I think I have had it all. But in different periods of time things were rough.

A long day, but a fun one. It’s baking outside, but insulated and air-conditioned in our windowless training room, we hardly notice.

I go to collect tomorrow’s workbooks from Staples, but they’ve screwed it up. I go back to the house to eat & work. I drink a glass of wine, finish some emails, and then head out.

I go to the Colonial to watch RBG. It’s a great movie. And when I leave the streets are dark and warm and thronging. And I’ve forgotten to collect my workbooks, so I’ll be late to class tomorrow. Notorious SEB.
