Wedding Day ........

........Roses. These were planted when we married in 2003 - the odour from them is lovely but they are inclined to be rampant and need frequent disciplining in order not to cover our window in like the Sleeping Beauty.
Today I : listened to a friend needing support.
Did some household jobs and planned for another friend coming to stay next week.
The rain and wind was refreshing ; once the sun returned I sat in the garden to be still for a while and enjoy the sounds.
Generally it was a faffing about sort of day - oh and we saw the house martins fly up a couple of times and visit where their nest had been . It was almost like they were payin* a visit to somewhere familiar.
