Potty
We had an early appointment with our solicitor this morning to have some documents 'notarised' - in other words he signed a piece of paper to the effect that we are who we say we are. All to comply with the anti-money laundering laws. He then had a five minute rant about the absurdity of it, how it has no chance of catching the real criminals. We totally agreed - all the while wondering how much he's going to charge us for his time.
His office is in a part of town where the old and new buildings are cheek by jowl, the old reflected in the glass frontages of the new -with a few distortions to give added interest.
After that we went to singing and then home to find we'd left Douggie shut in the sitting room all day. He was very hungry but none the worse, and - lucky for us - he must have excellent bladder control!
Many thanks to Ingeborg for continued hosting of the Abstract Thursday challenge.
