Chimney Sweeper
Sooty, flighty and small being a little bit of a hassle to photograph it has to be said with the wind high on the limestone of the Cotswolds this afternoon. The dogs were so bored waiting for me that Tilly sat on the specimen. 'Try that one!', might have been her words.
A rather cute day-flying moth, Chimney Sweeper, which one could easily mistake for a small blue if not looking closely and not one that wanted to be blipped at any point. He obviously didn't know who he was dealing with. I had no blip!
Always a good idea I feel in the spring/summer to have your chimney swept ready for the rigours of the winter to come so use this blip as a reminder!
