The Older Couple
I dislike sunbathing and it's been quite hot today; after leaving the girls at the beach, my friend Kel and I set off for a drive to The Lasithi Plateau, Crete to try and find a certain location I'm after.
We ended up at Tzermiado village and decided on a walk around it enjoying an ice cold soft drink at a taverna. This couple were sat outside their house, and on passing them they didn't speak a word of english, but were trying to communicate with us. They were kind to let me take their photo. I like the way he put his hand by hers. I wonder what stories they could tell of the war years (1939-45 - see yesterdays blip).
The photo is taken in Fuji Acros black and white and processed in Forte Bergger 400 Plus film preset.
The extra is of a lovely disued shop front in the village that is just so iconic of Greece and it's islands.
